New CIP Partner

Christina Grumstrup Sørensen joins Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is pleased to announce that Ms. Christina Grumstrup Sørensen will join CIP as partner as of 1 March 2014. Until her accession as partner, Christina will be working with CIP as consultant on a number of designated projects.

Christina Grumstrup Sørensen comes from a position as Senior Vice President at DONG Energy Wind Power, where she was heading the company’s offshore wind construction projects and played a key role in building DONG Energy’s offshore wind business from 2008 to 2013. Prior to this Christina held the position as Vice President and head of analysis and strategy in the company’s thermal power business unit.

Christina has a background as Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and as consultant with McKinsey & Co. for 7 years.

Christina will contribute with valuable knowledge and experience from complex construction projects within the energy infrastructure space and will add further to CIP’s expertise within development, construction, financing and operation of energy related infrastructure projects.

Christina Grumstrup Sørensen is member of the Council at Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and board member of Nordeafonden.
