Following the successful installation of the first 7MW turbines, Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited, Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm, has exported power to the National Grid for the first time today (July 19, 2018).
Reaching first power safely, ahead of programme and on budget is a fantastic achievement for everyone connected to the project and heralds the start of the final stage of Beatrice’s journey towards completion in Spring 2019. The funds CI I and CI II each owns 17,5% of Beatrice, and CI II has also provided senior debt to the project company.
